Pediatric Environmental Home Assessment:
Incentives to Take On-Line Training
Thanks to a grant from
EPA's Office of Children's
Health, NCHH is pleased to offer a
free, on-line training for nurses to help them
assess hazards in a home and develop an Nursing Care Plan based on that assessment.
NCHH is offering an incentive to the first 170 nurses
to complete the five steps in the training. Each nurse can choose a:
-
10% discount coupon on a moisture meter that sells
for $385; or
-
Deluxe carbon monoxide alarm for the home
(retails at $45); or
-
Easy-to-use lead dust wipe kit (retails at $32).
While anyone can take the on-line training, only
nurses are eligible for the incentives.
To qualify, nurses must:
-
Complete all
five forms. At the bottom of each
form, provide your name, your email and confirm that you are a nurse.
-
On the
last form, indicate which incentive you
want.
-
Fill out an evaluation form on the training.
-
Be one of the first 170 nurses to make a
request.
NCHH will review the forms you submitted and get
back with you in two weeks.
If you have any questions, contact Susan Aceti at
saceti@nchh.org
or 443-539-4153.
