With at least 235,000 people requiring training, NCHH realized that it needs to engage as many talented instructors as it could find.  Unfortunately, the EPA-accreditation process and the documentation of training can be a barrier for many instructors who want to train but not focus on the paperwork and approvals. 

 

In response to the challenge, NCHH has taken a novel approach to delivering the Certified Lead Renovator and Lead Dust Sampling Technician training.  In essence, NCHH is the EPA-accredited training provider and handles the EPA-required documentation for its instructors.  It also provide technical support to the instructors and uses it bulk buying power to get course materials at a lower cost should the instructor need them.  The instructors make all the arrangements for the training delivery including tuition and registration.  Instructors are free to set whatever fees they want. 

 

As of May 2010, EPA has approved 94 principal instructors for NCHH. The following instructors have a written agreement with NCHH to deliver the training and have successfully delivered at least one training for NCHH.  Please contact them for training in their area:
